If someone asked you, what is Jesus all about, what would you say? My guess is 9/10 of you would say “Love.”  Others may say, “He died for my sins.” Maybe some would offer, “Jesus cared for the least of these.” While all are true, these answers miss something that is integral to understanding who Jesus was. What are they missing, you ask? The Kingdom of God. Jesus talked about this Kingdom endlessly. The King is like a child, like a lost coin, a lost sheep, a lost son, is like a woman kneading dough, is like a mustard seed. When he told us how to pray, Jesus instructed us to pray about the kingdom, “on earth as it is in heaven.” Without understanding the Kingdom, we simply cannot fully understand what Jesus came to do, nor can we know what he left us to do.
