On Sunday August 16 at 2pm, we are thrilled to welcome The Astralis Chamber Ensemble to our sanctuary for an “Evening in France,” the next concert in our First Presbyterian Concert Summer Series. Flutist Angela Massey, Cellist Edward Luengo, and Harpist Li Shan Tan have been praised as “scary good” and “truly riveting.” They’ll bring us an afternoon of Fauré, a challenging trio by Ibert, and expressive works by two wonderful female composers, Boulanger and Renié. This is a rare chance to hear this combination of instruments performed at such a high level, right here in our Sanctuary in Salisbury.
