8:30am Contemporary Worship in Lewis Hall with our LCW Praise Team – Special Contemporary Worship – It is 5 senses Worship Sunday! We will use our 5 senses to reflect on God’s promises in Isaiah 40. As the Prophet speaks of comfort, we encourage you to bring a blanket from your home to wrap yourself in for worship THIS Sunday and then be wrapped in God’s great comfort. Don’t forget!

First Pres Spring Concert Series Presents “Classical in Space”
The well-known Lake Norman Orchestra will be at First Pres this Sunday, April 19 @2pm proudly presenting a free-admission concert featuring music from films and media about space travel including “The Empire Strikes Back Medley,” “Star Trek Through the Years,” “Theme from E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial,” “Starman,” “Theme from 2001: A Space Odyssey (Also Sprach Zarathustra),” “Mars and Jupiter from The Planets,” “Fly Me to the Moon,” and “The Rosin-Eating Zombies from Outer Space.” Perfect for our younger music and space enthusiasts too! We will have free nursery for the littlest ones and refreshments after the concert! Come join in the musical fun!
Youth this Week!
Sunday, April 19: LTD (Living Through Discipleship): We’re back this Sunday morning, 9:45-10:30 to read the Bible together in the HS Sunday School room. Salem Fleming will be leading.
Sunday, April 19: Games @ the Park. For our final youth gathering we’re gathering in Bell Tower Green Park for some yard games, food, drink, and fun. There may even be a trip to dairy queen in the mix! 5PM-6:30. Meet at First Pres and we’ll walk over.
Our First Kids Club meets this Wednesday, April 22 from 5:30-7pm. Last FK Evening is Wednesday, May 6.
