The nursery has been temporarily moved upstairs to Room 211 to allow for summer maintenance in our Day School.
We are also excited to continue our Summer Unified Sunday School Class for Adults and Youth at 9:30am in Fellowship Hall. NEW EARLIER TIME.
Also on Sunday at 5pm, it is Second Sunday Cinema, sponsored by our Race & Justice Ministry Team. They will meet in Everyman’s Bible Classroom. This month’s movie presentation is 12 Years a Slave. Everyone is invited!

RSS Summer Meals
The Rowan Salisbury Schools summer meals program runs through Tuesday, July 28. We need 2-3 volunteers every day, Monday-Friday from 11:15am to 12:15pm. Just one hour! Use the link below to sign up. Our Volunteers host the families that come in with their kids to eat in our Fellowship Hall. Our volunteers and the families love getting to know one another. Please consider helping. Requirement: Christine needs a copy of your driver’s license.

Theology on Tap
Save the date for our second meeting this Wednesday, July 15 from 6:30-8pm. All young adults (18 to 40ish) are invited to join Pastor Hannah at New Sarum Brewing. We will spend time together and with God’s Word.

Mountain Mission Trip Summer 2026
Our next Helen Hurricane Relief Mission Trip will be July 19-24. Communities still need so much help rebuilding. Contact Bob Harris at 704-202-5877 to volunteer—no skills required and no cost for lodging and meals.

Tomato Day is July 19
Save the date for Sunday, July 19. It is our Annual Tomato Day lunch in Lewis Hall after our Unified Worship Service @10:30am in our Sanctuary. We will serve up the best BLT sandwiches – those summer tomatoes so delicious complimented by the BEST BACON! Our members bring homemade salads, side dishes, and desserts to finish the meal. We cannot wait!

Helping RSS Teachers in Need
Every year, Rowan Salisbury Schools have teachers from around the world come to Rowan County to teach. They do not arrive with much more than a suitcase of clothes. This school year, we are blessed with 8 international teachers. We really want to help make their transition here to Salisbury easier. Our deadline to help is August 3! We have two ways you can help.
