I am “Baptized into Hope”
What do you hope for? In what and in whom do you place your hope? What’s God got to do with it? Come Sunday as we re-affirm our baptisms and remember again who is our ultimate hope.
@8:30am Life Center Praise Band joins in the remembrance of our baptism with “Wonder.” We invite Christ to “Open Up the Heavens” and show us His glory. Let our heart beat with His heartbeat as we sing “The Body” together.
@11am Gwynne Shoaf and our music director Teresa di Freitas will play an organ and piano duet “We Shall Behold Him”. Our congregation will sing “Baptized in Water” and “Come Thy Fount of Every Blessing” as the Sunday hymns.
SUNDAY SCHOOL IS BACK! All classes (children, youth & adult) are back in session. We hope to see you! There are are lots of options! @9:45-10:45am

Youth This Week!
Sunday, Jan 11th
1) Living Through Discipleship with Pastor Josh from 9:45-10:30am in the Youth Room.
2)MANDATORY TWAM 5K MEETING: 12:30pm in Fellowship Hall. All students hoping to go on the TWAM mission trip must attend this important meeting. We’ll be discussing our sponsorships for our biggest fundraiser of the year.
3) Cliffhangers Gym, 5-8:30pm: Drop-off will be at First Pres at 5pm. We’ll climb at Cliffhangers for 2 hours. Dinner will be included. Cost is $15.
Important and Coming in the Future
Sunday, Jan 25: Youth Sunday: Each year, all youth who participate in our youth ministry (students do not need to be members to participate) help lead our Sunday Worship Service in Lewis Hall at 11am. We’ll have practice for Youth Sunday on Saturday, Jan 24 @5pm in Lewis Hall with pizza provided. Please put this date on your calendar!
March 27-29: TWAM HS Mountain Retreat: We head to the mountains to stay in two beautiful mountain cabins for the weekend. This retreat is recommended for all HS students hoping to go on the TWAM mission trip.
First Kids!
Wednesday, Jan 14: Come! Meet our new Director of Faith Formation & Mission – Rev. Hannah Ostlund! We have great food, new lessons, and new music. This weekly program is open to all children ages PreK 3 – 5th grade on Wednesdays from 5:30-7pm. We have a lot of fun learning about God, Jesus and the Bible!
